At MIS we believe that learning takes place as much outside the classroom as inside. A full range of academic and extra-curricular trips are organized over the course of a year, ranging from historical trips to sites such as Bagamoyo, sporting trips against other schools and cultural trips. Students also combine with children from another international school for a skiing trip to Europe. Emphasis is placed on making these experiences both educational and fun. The students are encouraged to experience different cultures: international as well as local.
