There is a busy activities programme outside school hours, for both day students and boarders. Students are encouraged to participate in as many activities as possible, and there is a very happy and industrious atmosphere to be experienced. Activities include: tennis; dance; athletics; choir; golf; football; cricket; hockey; tag-rugby; volleyball; jump rope; karate; art; drama; international club; swimming; and cycling. Parents are welcomed to help in school and to run after school clubs. At the same time activities are available for parents in the evenings and at weekends. Sport competitions take place regularly, either with other schools or amongst the school houses. At the end of each year a sports week takes place where students participate in events such as the triathlon. Within the timetable themed weeks are planned to introduce students to different skills and to help them experience other aspects of learning. DT week, international week, science week and environmental week are all examples of this.
