Morogoro International School

A small friendly school with modern resources and excellence as its aim

Today’s world calls for awareness about green issues and sustainable energy. MIS is keen to act in accordance with new thought and research. Small steps have already been taken in this regard: energy-saving light bulbs are being introduced across the school, and the initial stages in sinking a borehole have already been taken. A school wide recycling scheme is now in place, with small student groups responsible for recycling paper and plastic. The recycled paper is sent to Iringa with a parent for the use of a group who utilise it to create cultural art.

At present, we are actively seeking funding in order to pay for a wind-turbine and natural air-conditioning units. Any parties interested in supporting this venture are invited to contact the school.
