MIS has recently set up a Saturday School for children from a local state-run Tanzanian primary school. The Saturday School is run by volunteers from international organisations and institutions in conjunction with secondary students from our school. The focus is on English language teaching. Computer skills are also taught. Free time is provided so that the Saturday School children can take advantage of the sporting facilities at MIS. At present twenty students attend the Saturday School. As the project develops we hope to increase the number we are able to receive.
